We have created a test patient to help you get started. We will email you with information about the trial, which will contain a link to create an account. When you sign in, you will be able to view the test user's sample data to help orient you to the Clinic app's features.
In case you don't receive the email, please check your Junk folder. The invitation will be from firstname.lastname@example.org, with a title of "mySymptoms Clinic Beta Trial":
In the email, please click on the 'Create an account here' link to go the mySymptoms Clinic sign up page.
Choose a username and password, and fill in the rest of the registration form. Your email address will be pre-populated with the one you used to complete our pre-beta survey. If you would like to use a different email address please contact us at email@example.com
When you click enter you will be taken to the Sign In page. Enter the username and password you have just created to sign in.

You can use the annotation tools, such as the Arrow, to mark up the captured image. If you include your email address, we will send you a copy of the feedback. You may add further comments later by replying to the email. We might contact you to ask for more information (of course you're under no obligation to reply).
We will also send you a survey at the end of the trial.
The web app allows to you send instructions to your patients on how to install the mobile app and how to invite you to share their diary.
Click on the Notify Patients link in the left hand navigation panel. Enter their email address in the input field and click Send.
The following screens give an overview of what your patients will be instructed to do. In the mobile app, they will need to tap on the More button:
They will then tap on the Share Diary with Clinicians menu item:
.... and enter your email address and click send:
The patient will then see the status of the invite against your name.
They can verify your details by tapping on your name:
After accepting their invite, you will be able to view their diary.
Patients can also remove diary sharing with you at any time.
The mySymptoms mobile app for patients uses anonymous usernames to protect the privacy of users. This means that when a patient sends you a diary share invitation from the app, the username displayed will be anonymous.
We recommend that before accepting a diary share invitation that you identify the patient by asking them in person what their mySymptoms username is. If they have forgotten, they can find it by going to the More tab > User Settings.
Once you have a patient's real name, you can add it to mySymptoms Clinic by clicking on the Edit icon shown in the Patients screen below.
Please note that the patient's real name is only stored in mySymptoms Clinic on your web browser. If you move devices, you will need to add their real name once again.
Thank you once again for participating in the trial. We look forward to receiving your feedback and suggestions.
